So as a thought, I’ve decided to try to focus on some fun things here. I’m going to try to post my dive reports on here, which should be at least once a month (fingers crossed). Won’t be super interesting stuff, but it should be up here since I have nowhere to write down any of my freediving reports.
Also, I want to try to keep my computers a little more updated, at least until I find a solution I really truly like, not just settling for it. Most of it will be finding the right OS, and then eventually the right programs. For my desktop, it just needs to look pretty, be decently fast and work. My netbook just needs to be light, fast, and work.
For both types of post, I’ll try to post a screenshot or a photo from the event.
So…..I feel like things are going to change around the site. I am going to make an effort to blog a little more. Not necessarily about update news, but general blogs. I’ll definitely make an entry if I upload a new album. This is also hoping that I’ll get around to cleaning up the viewing pages for photos.
I recently got PADI certified for open water SCUBA. It’s an amazing experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to be certified with. It was a good combination of skill and experience with a great teacher. I urge anyone in the greater Monterey Bay/SF area to look up Robsscuba.com. Look for an album to be up in the next (shudder) month.
One of the bigger issues I’m having right now is time. Before I had too much of it. But now, I feel like it really is just flying by. Eat, sleep, taiko does not apply, but work, taiko, (small sleep) seems more appropriate. Lately it’s been working 8 hrs 7-3 straight with no lunch. Gets me home in time for about an hour of misc taiko construction before the 2hr drive to practice. But too much whining for now.
Time to focus on actually taking more meaningful photos and less snapshots. If I take it, I need to make it count. Like when I was learning SLR’s with my Nikon FM2 on film I rolled myself. You double shots if needed for bracketing but otherwise tried to limit the # of double shots.

Finally got around to dealing with the website again. Still not completely how I want it, but I’m getting there. Added a rudimentary security section to the contact form so hopefully I’ll be getting less spam from it. Also created a blank page for the projects. Here’s to hoping that it won’t be another 3 months before I update anything again.
